As Staff Specialist - Electrophysiology , you will: Deliver expert inpatient and outpatient care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias and general cardiology conditions Perform complex electrophysiology procedures including AF ablations (RF and cryo), VT ablations, pacemaker and AICD implantations, biventricular and leadless devices Participate in cardiac outreach and telehealth services across North and North West Queensland Contribute to clinical training, research, and innovation Provide leadership and mentorship within a teaching hospital affiliated with James Cook University Join a well-resourced EP lab supported by 3D mapping systems and an experienced scientific team About You You're a collaborative, forward-thinking leader with: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent Subspecialty training in Electrophysiology and Pacing, consistent with CSANZ guidelines Current registration (or eligibility) as a Specialist Cardiologist with AHPRA Experience in general cardiology and interest in outreach service delivery Commitment to teaching, quality improvement, and evidence-based care Location Affordable housing, access to good schools, and a family-oriented community feel.
